On Monday, KTR inaugurated several development and welfare programs in Mahabubnagar district center. After inaugurating the government medical college built at a cost of Rs 450 crore, the minister said that 35 to 40 percent of the pharmaceuticals in the pharmaceutical sector are manufactured in Telangana and that Telangana is cooperating with the world in the pharma sector. He said maternal and infant mortality in the state has come down after the implementation of the KCR kit.

The government said the number of deliveries had increased from 40 to 50 percent. He reminded that the state government is paying almost attention to public health and the largest eye examination in the world was conducted under the name of Eye Light. He said that in the current scenario where the cost of medical care is being borne by the common man, people have been given confidence in government hospitals, but it is still the responsibility of the elders and officials working in the medical field to build trust
State Excise Minister Dr V Srinivas Goud said that in the past one had to go to Hyderabad for every little thing for treatment and now there is no such problem and all the medical facilities are in Mahabubnagar itself. He revealed that those who got ranks in the state were earning a seat in Mahabubnagar as the third college.

State Municipal and IT Minister K Tarakaramarao said that 2 lakh 82 thousand houses are being constructed at a cost of Rs 18,000 crore for the homeless in the state.
Earlier, the Minister inaugurated a 2087-acre KCR Urban Eco Park at Mayuri Park with a check dam, sea tower, chain link fencing, kunta, bomb dining and camp office at a cost of Rs 56 lakh. Greening program on the newly constructed bypass road. Plants are planted underneath. Later, Ambedkar inaugurated the Mahabubnagar Expo Plaza at Chowrasta. In addition, 252 shops were handed over to street vendors. Six hundred and sixty double bedroom houses were started in Veerannapet for the poor.

Excise Minister Srinivas Goud said that many developmental welfare programs were launched in Mahabubnagar district in a single day, especially the opening of the largest urban eco park and medical college in the country on 2087 acres. The day is coming now, he said, adding that a lot of development of roads and drainage junctions has been undertaken and even during covid, farmer bond and farmer insurance are being implemented.
Mahabubnagar MP Manne Srinivasareddy, who was present at the meeting, said the people should take stock of the progress made in the last 60 years and the progress made in the last 6 years. He said the state chief minister was thinking of implementing schemes to provide market value to farmers, develop towns and villages in the name of rural progress and urban progress and what the people want.
